Mitchell Spearman
has been recognized as one of Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Instructors" for over a decade. A native of Great Britain, Mitchell was inspired at an early age to follow in the footsteps of his aunt Marley Spearman, one of England's foremost lady golfers. After competing on the European PGA Tour, Mitchell was fortunate enough to learn the art of teaching golf under the guidance of David Leadbetter. As David's chief lieutenant, he became Director of Instruction for the Leadbetter Academies worldwide, traveling the globe to oversee the opening and operation of new facilities.

Mitchell is well known and highly respected for his work with top tour pros such as Nick Faldo, Robert Gamez and Craig Parry, among others. He teaches numerous private and corporate clients, and appears regularly in Golf Magazine, Sports Illustrated and in a wide array of leading national and international golf publications. This includes being featured on the cover of the August, 1999 edition of Golf Magazine.

Mitchell is Director of Instruction at Manhattan Woods Golf Club in West Nyack, New York, where he spends the summer months. In the winter months, he is based at Isleworth Country Club in Windermere, Florida.

Mitchell's golf instructional book, The AIM of Golf, released in the spring of 2004, is on sale in bookstores now. For more information, including how to order a copy, click here . . .
